I Suck. Here’s Why…

Your responses to my last blog post made me think…

This Cracked Me Up…

A series of very short video clips produced by Nike featuring the likes of Richard Branson, Tony Robbins and Kobe Bryant was shared with me this week, and I wanted to pass on to you my pick of the bunch.

This one in particular cracked me up and alludes to the very real truth that there’s always another level for us to get to.

Success at success at success. Let me know your thoughts…

New Showreel

Emotional Buttons

This piece of music is titled The Reunion and is the soundtrack of the movie War Horse. There’s a great power in listening to movie soundtracks and anchoring certain emotional states. This piece in particular is a great way to get inspired on demand.

Happy Holidays!

Hope you’re having a wonderful time this holiday weekend. I wanted to make a longer video but I’m running out of time between now and the 25th!

Love to you and everyone around you!

Life is in the moments…

I just watched it myself for the first time and it really touched me. Sometimes we forget about the beauty in everyday moments. What I love about this video is that it doesn’t paint a picture just of glamorous moments, but of nitty-gritty real life moments

It somehow finds a way to make all of them beautiful.

Whatever meaning you take from it, have a wonderful wonderful day.

Improve your confidence – Improve your smile

What are some benefits of smiling?

  1. One of the sexiest gestures is watching someone hang their head back and laugh uncontrollably, particularly when they reveal their full open mouthed smile. A full smile during laughter creates a connection, it displays a combination of vulnerability and relaxed confidence, both of which are the cornerstones of charisma.
  2. A smile that shows a full set of teeth is perceived as much more warm, friendly, and welcoming than a close mouthed smile.
  3. People who smile in a social event are three times as likely to be approached by a member of the opposite sex.
  4. Whether it’s for job interviews or networking purposes, studies have shown that people who smile are believed to be more trustworthy and capable than those who don’t.

So why don’t people smile?

  1. Worried about bad breath?
  2. Stained, crowded or chipped teeth?
  3. Shy?
  4. Something to hide?

The best thing about all of these things is that we can change them. There’s no excuse not to have a great smile!

A quick ‘P.S.’ from Matt!

Hey guys, James is a good friend of mine and someone I’ve worked with in the past. He’s actually my dentist, and he runs a practice in London that won the dental practice of year award. We worked together in his business and he has now been voted the #1 most influential person in dentistry! Impressive right? I work with the best, and this guy is the best when it comes to dentistry.

I’ve asked James to put together some VIP packages for my followers and he’s set up a link here where you can find them. Check it out:

Be sure to check it out as the offers end on the 7th of October. Smile, and have a great day!
